Stratton G. Danes
Stratton G. Danes, MD is a Board-certified vascular surgeon. He is experienced in both open and endovascular procedures, and practices the full range of vascular surgery, including limb salvage, aortic aneurysm repair, venous disease and varicose veins, carotid interventions, and dialysis access. He has almost 18 years’ experience as an attending in vascular surgery. Dr. Danes attended medical school at SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse where he graduated AOA. He went on to do a residency in General Surgery Residency at New York University Medical Center. He subsequently competed a fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Hartford Hospital and the University of Connecticut. After a short stay in the Midwest, Dr Danes came back to the Northeast. He practiced at Mary Imogene Basset Hospital in Cooperstown NY, where he directed the surgical clerkship and served on the faculty of Albany Medical College and Columbia University Medical School, receiving the resident’s teaching award. He then practiced at Catholic Medical Center in NH. Most recently, Dr. Danes was practicing in Connecticut and Rhode Island before relocating to Massachusetts. Dr Danes joined The Vascular Care Group in 2023. He is located at our vascular center in Plymouth, and he is on staff at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital – Plymouth, as well as Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital.
