Brad S. Oriel, MD is a distinguished, board-certified vascular surgeon with more than a decade of surgical and endovascular experience coupled with a broad range of clinical and academic accomplishments.

He received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Bates College in Lewiston, ME before pursuing his medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.  His postgraduate training at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA, included an internship and residency in general surgery.  Dr. Oriel then pursued a vascular surgery fellowship at Boston Medical Center, honing his expertise in complex vascular procedures and minimally invasive techniques.

Immediately prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, Dr. Oriel was a vascular surgeon with Middlesex Surgical Associates in Winchester, MA, and Chief of Vascular Surgery at Winchester Hospital.

Dr. Oriel has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and has been the speaker for multiple local and national presentations. He is a member of professional organizations such as the Society for Vascular Surgery and the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society and has volunteered his time for medical trips to Guatemala.

Dr. Oriel is well-respected for his expertise, compassion, and innovative approach to patient care. Whether performing intricate vascular procedures or mentoring the next generation of surgeons, Dr. Oriel continues to make significant contributions to the advancement of vascular medicine and the well-being of his patients.

Steven Zaluk

Steven Zaluk works as an IT Support Engineer at Mangrove Management Partners, where he leverages his backend development skills in Python and C++ to provide IT solutions. He can use these programming languages to create, modify, and debug software applications that run on servers or other devices. He can also use them to automate tasks, optimize performance, and enhance security. He has previous experience as an IT Specialist for an MSP in Dover, NH, where he supported clients in various IT settings, remotely or on-site support. Steven Zaluk is a certified Scrum Master and AWS Cloud Practitioner

Stephanie DeFilippo

Stephanie DeFilippo manages Clinical Operations at Mangrove Management Partners.

Prior to joining Mangrove, she held the role of Technical Director at The Vascular Experts, overseeing the Vascular Laboratory. She has extensive expertise in developing innovative processes aimed at delivering superior vein care that aligns with patient demands.

Ms. DeFilippo earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Charter Oak State College and holds technical certifications in Ultrasound and Radiography from St. Vincent’s College.

Paula Andrews

Paula Andrews serves as the Patient Access Center (PAC) Manager, bringing over a decade of expertise in medical management to her role.

Having transitioned from Georgia to Boston three years ago, she previously held a key position in patient assistance center management at Boston Medical Center. With a dedicated focus on elevating patient experience and satisfaction, Paula’s tenure has been marked by transformative initiatives. Her diverse background infuses healthcare management with a broad perspective, enabling her to effectively cater to the needs of a varied patient demographic. Paula is committed to upholding patient-centered practices as the cornerstone of healthcare administration, leveraging her wealth of knowledge to drive positive change.

Nicole Gagne

Nicole Gagne is the Director of Patient Outcomes Analytics at Mangrove Management Partners.

Before joining Mangrove, Ms. Gagne served as a Manager of Monitoring and Evaluation at an international health and disaster relief non-profit. Her work centered around improving data collection systems, conducting data analyses, creating visualizations, and collaborating to improve data accuracy and utilization across the organization. Ms. Gagne has expertise in addressing data collection challenges in healthcare and recognizes the significance of high-quality data in advancing long-term patient outcomes.

Ms. Gagne earned her BA from Duke University.

Donna Richer

RHIA, CCS, and CPC-A

Donna Richer serves as the Manager of Revenue Cycle Management at Mangrove Management Partners. With more than 12 years of expertise in Revenue Cycle Management, Donna excels in billing and coding, monitoring the dynamic healthcare regulations, and driving process enhancements.

Prior to joining Mangrove, Donna held the position of Revenue Cycle Specialist at Conifer Health Solutions, where she honed her skills in analyzing payer behavior, identifying trends, and ensuring payers’ compliance with provider contracts. Her proficiency in payer strategy resolution was instrumental in optimizing revenue cycles.

Donna holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Southern New Hampshire University and maintains credentials as a RHIA, CCS, and CPC-A.

Kristin Cabot

Kristin Cabot, MSN, FNP-C is a Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with nearly 20 years of nursing experience. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst School of Nursing.  She later completed her Master of Science degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. Kristin completed additional coursework in Wound Management.

With a passion for providing high-quality care to her patients, Kristin has worked in various healthcare environments throughout her career including in the inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.  Kristin will be a familiar face to many, as she has been working at The Vascular Care Group’s Leominster office for the past seven and a half years as a clinical nurse.  In this role, she gained valuable experience providing comprehensive vascular care to individuals in the Leominster office. 

As a nurse practitioner, Kristin is committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in healthcare and is excited about her new role in a familiar environment.  She is also active in the community, supporting several hospital-sponsored fundraising runs and walks. With her extensive education, training, and experience, Kristin provides compassionate and patient-centered care to all those she serves and much-needed support to the other clinicians in Leominster.

Lori Sluss

Lori Sluss, MSN FNP-C is a registered nurse with nearly 15 years of experience. Lori received her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Salem State University, and recently completed her master of science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner at Simmons University in Boston. Prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, Lori worked for Emerson Hospital Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine where she gained extensive experience in advanced wound care modalities including advanced wound care dressings as well as the management of complex patients including coordination of care. Her wide range of professional experience also includes pre- and post-surgical care, rehabilitation, pediatric, adult and geriatric care, home care, and pharmaceutical medicine. Lori enjoys spending leisure time outdoors with her family.

Amber Schaub

Amber Schaub is an NCCPA-certified physician assistant who began practicing in 2009 who has experience in both vascular surgery and interventional cardiology.

She earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Northeastern University and her Masters of Health Science from Quinnipiac University.

Prior to joining The Vascular Care Group, Amber worked as a Vascular Surgery Physician Assistant at Maine Medical Partners Vascular Surgery, and before that, she was the Interventional Cardiology Physician Assistant, Structural Heart Coordinator for Cape Cod Hospital. In addition, she has worked at Massachusetts General Hospital in vascular surgery on their inpatient floors, where she cared for both pre-op and post-op patients.

Amber has expertise in formulating plans, making advanced clinical decisions, interpreting vascular lab studies and CT scan imaging, managing and triaging patients, performing consultations, and collaborating with teams.

Kathia P. Rosa

Kathia P. Rosa is a board-certified nurse practitioner with clinical experience in cardiac and primary care. She has expert-level computer and clinical assessment skills and speaks both Spanish and Portuguese. Above all, she has a true passion for preventive health and wellness.

Kathia earned her Associate in Science from Cape Cod Community College, then her Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science degree as an Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner from Regis College. Beyond her nurse practitioner and registered nursing certifications, Kathia holds one for Biotronik Fundamental of Cardiac Pacing and Defibrillator Advanced Electrocardiogram Interpretation, and another for Medtronic Basic Pacemaker and Defibrillator Follow Up.

She is also professionally affiliated with the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Pi Epsilon at Large Chapter of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Prior to joining the Vascular Care Group team, Kathia worked at Harbor Health Community Center as an Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Before that, she held two roles at The Heart Center in Hyannis; Cardiac and Anticoagulation Registered Nurse and Pacemaker and Defibrillator Technician. She has also tutored at Regis College in Advanced Pathophysiology and Clinical Pharmacology.
